What this app does

Watch Battery Notifier is a phone-and-watch app pair. The watch app reads its own battery level and sends it to the paired phone over the Wearable Data Layer (a local Bluetooth/Wi-Fi Direct connection). The phone app checks the level against your chosen threshold and posts a notification when the battery is low.

No data leaves your devices at any point.

Information we collect

None. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. The only data the app handles is:

• Watch battery level and charging state — read from the watch's own system APIs and synced locally to the paired phone.
• Your notification preferences — the threshold and repeat interval you configure, stored on your phone only.

This data never leaves your devices and is not accessible to us or any third party.

Third-party services

The app does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs. It makes no network requests to external servers.

Permissions

The app requests the following Android permissions:

• Notifications (phone) — to alert you when the watch battery is low.
• Receive boot completed (watch) — to restart battery monitoring after the watch reboots.

These permissions are used solely for the app's core functionality.

Data storage

All settings and battery state are stored locally on-device using Android's Preferences DataStore. No cloud storage, no remote databases, no backups to external services.

Children's privacy

The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this policy will be updated and a new effective date posted.
